SERVICES What do we offer?

We work closely with energy companies and utilities to develop sound commercial strategies, manage risks effectively and participate in supply negotiations and tenders to identify the most advantageous offer for our clients. We provide expert technical and legal advice on strategic decisions to ensure an efficient, economic and sustainable energy supply.

Commercial and Strategic Advice

We provide commercial strategies including business risk analysis. We manage permits for the export of electricity and supervise the development of the infrastructure for the export of energy. We review the calculations of the Independent System Operator, such as Energy and Capacity Transfer Balances, as well as Sufficiency Capacity calculations and other relevant procedures in the electricity market. We provide comprehensive advice to generation projects in all stages of development, including aspects such as location, easements, concessions and support in the administrative management of the connection. We provide strategic support in negotiations and commercial arbitration, whether for the supply of gas or electricity.

Grid Connection

We provide support in the management to obtain grid connection in public and dedicated transmission systems. We advise you during the electrical connection process, facilitating the paperwork and ensuring that there are no setbacks. We manage the declaration process during the construction of new facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. We coordinate and review studies and parameters required by the National Coordinator to obtain the commercial operation. We provide advice and support in bidding processes for construction contracts of power lines and substations.

Planning and Studies

We do studies and analysis for new investments as well as for existing assets. We prepare market price projections. We actively participate in transmission project planning processes, ensuring an effective representation of our clients’ interests. We address the valuation of generation assets, as well as transmission assets, offering an accurate estimation of their value. We conduct Technical and Commercial Due Diligence of facilities, offering a complete assessment that supports our clients’ decisions.

Regulation

We are specialists in electricity and fuel regulation, offering full support to our clients in lawsuits, divergences and arbitrations. We design strategies for supply bids with technical and legal support, both with free and regulated clients. We follow up and make proposals to the CNE’s regulatory modification agenda and the Coordinator’s procedures. We structure, from the commercial and legal dimension, contracts and negotiation for both fuel supply and electricity supply, ensuring solid and beneficial agreements for our clients.

Control Center Integrity Analysis

We examine the three crucial aspects to ensure optimum performance in a Control Center. We evaluate the technical expertise of the operators, analyzing their knowledge of electrical systems, regulations and procedures. We measure their behavioral performance, evaluating teamwork skills, adaptability to change, following structured processes and behavior under high stress situations. We carry out an exhaustive review of the infrastructure and services that support the operation of the Control Center, considering different scenarios.

We develop presentations of the Power Market to executives of financial institutions, as well as to national and international investors.
